Your Custom Cycling Picture options explained.
Picture Size, Overall Finish & Delivery
Size
The default picture size is A4 but I can produce your custom picture in 14″x11″ or A3. Size options are priced separately
Finish & Framing
The default is an unframed print, printed and delivered
Frames available are Black, White and Oak wood effect. Please note I don’t offer frames on A3 size. Prices for size and framed status vary.
Delivery
Default delivery is free to UK for a printed, framed and packed – delivery Royal Mail 2nd Class ‘Signed For’
An alternative option for delivery is to deliver you a print file in both JPG and PDF which you can print yourself or have printed by a print shop. This is a much cheaper option and you can still achieve a personalised picture at a more affordable price.
Event Title & Date
You can choose to have a standard cycle ride with basic title name and date or you can personalise this for a little extra.
Identifies the event you have completed and the date. Default font is Trebuchet MS in black, a classic san serif font.
Options include changing the font style and colour to your preference. Size of text is set to balance the picture but you can specify this too.
These options are open to you if you select ‘Custom Title’ for your picture.
Personalisation
Typically this will include the name of the rider, number (if available) and their time for the event. Again font style, colour and size is able to be chosen. Default is Trebuchet MS in black, sized to balance the picture. This is a paid option.
Standard Map Options
Standard rides, like Lands End to John O’Groats, London to Paris, or Ride London (for example) have maps already selected and are included in the price.
Custom Map Options
If you want to celebrate your own cycle achievement you might need to choose your own map locations. Typically these can be used to include two locations that are special to you, or if you have taken part in a particular ride that is not covered by a standard ride.
Maybe you need a gift for cyclist who has moved from London to Istanbul, for example, so include the two locations in the two wheels. This is a paid option.
Route/Strava or GPX
This is included for some standard rides but if you want to celebrate your own route, and can supply the GPX file, I might be able to add the route onto the map. Only available for some digital map styles such s OpenStreetMap and Ordnance Survey Zoomstack.
Cycle Frame Colour & Customisation
The default is a black bike frame. Single colour changes are available, typically these include black seat and handlebars.
Custom bike designs can incorporate colour combinations but I can’t guarantee exact representations, simply a nod. Some makes and logo can be added, such as Bianchi, Liv, Sonder & Giant. This is a custom option at extra cost.
Club or Charity Logo
If you want to add your cycling club logo this is possible providing a high resolution image of the logo is available.
Charity logos are a popular addition as many of the longer bike events are run in conjunction with particular charities or you might be cycling the route to generate sponsorship for your favourite charity.
